A brilliant semi‑final victory built on two outstanding individual performances:

These efforts set up a strong win and booked the First XI a well‑earned place in the Grand Final.

🏆 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟮𝘀 – 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀!
After a stand‑out season, our U12s capped it off in style today with a well‑deserved premiership, going through the entire season undefeated.

A huge achievement for a group that has shown skill, resilience, and genuine love for the game all year.

💯 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗗
A fantastic month of Monday‑night cricket comes to an end. Our team won all three round‑robin matches before meeting the experience of Camberwell in the final.

This comp was all about fun, learning, and giving things a go and the group absolutely delivered. The final didn’t fall our way, but the growth, attitude, and talent on display set these players up beautifully for the future.

Today at East Box Hill Cricket Club, we proudly renamed the Railway End of Howard Wilson Oval the “Gill End”, in honour of Andrew Gill and his outstanding service to our club.

Apologies for the late notice and the secrecy — we wanted to keep it a surprise for Gilly!

If you’re around today, head down to congratulate the great man while he competes in his do-or-die semi final against Mitcham, and check out the new sign.

It’s a proud moment for East Box Hill Cricket Club, with two of the great names of our club now recognised at either end of the ground — the Gill End and the McGary (Whitehorse Road) End.

A well-deserved honour for a fantastic contributor to the club. 💪🏏
